Fattoria Uccelliera is a farm in the Tuscan village of Fauglia. The Fattoria has about 30 hectares of olives and produces approximately 4000 bottles of the highest quality First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin olive oil. This is really an exceptional oil, and it is beautifully presented in a 75cl bottle that makes a very special gift for those who appreciate fine food.

Generally speaking you cannot obtain single-estate olive oil in the supermarkets. And many of the specialist distributors in the UK sell small bottles that no-one in Mediterranean countries would bother with. Olive oil is a treat but one that should be used generously. This oil is in a wine bottle, with a pourer; a sensible size and very suitable for serving straight from the bottle even at the smartest table. We keep one on the table and one beside the cooker.
